A girl I met the other night asked me what kind of music I listen to. Being a first date, it was a legitimate question. So I got to thinking about it and just couldn’t help but wonder, what is on your iPod?

I have a little bit of everything but lately, I’ve been looking for better. I love the classic rock sounds of Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, grew up on AC/DC, Ozzy and Ratt. Though I still enjoy all those artists, I’m bored with them these days.

So I found Pandora Internet Radio. You type in an artist, genre or song and Pandora will gladly find music from other artists who have the same sound. Now I turn them on and when I hear a song I like, I go out to iTunes and purchase the song.

Through this method, I’ve found artists like Linkin Park, Nirvana, Bush and the Foo Fighters. I never really got into the Seattle grunge scene but as I get older, I find my tastes changing. I do like SOME country, Kid Rock has a whole song I like but I still don’t care much for country.
